Cameroon sheep

Scientific name: Ovis aries cameroon dwarf
Location: Mainly in Cameroon, Southwest and Central Africa
Sustenance: grass, all kinds of vegetation

Information: It is a durable species of sheep used for livestock for thousands of years. The most common color of their coat is brown with back belly, head and feet. Instead of wool, every autumn it grows a sub-layer of hair which then falls after the winter is over. It is highly reproductive, reach maturity early and can bear two cubs per year. Gestation lasts 147-150 days and ablactation 3-5 months.
